Reaction Steps
174.5 g of 1-bromo-2-(1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)-benzene was reacted via the zinc-organic compound with 102 g of oxalic acid monomethyl ester chloride, analogously to Example 2. Yield: 41.6 g.
