Procedure
Following General Procedure A and using N-(3,5-difluorophenylacetyl)-L-alanine (from Example B2) and L-histidine methyl ester dihydrochloride (Sigma), the title compound was prepared as a solid (mp=195-197° C.). The reaction was monitored by tlc (Rf=0.29 in 10% CH3OH/CH2Cl2).
