To a round-bottomed flask containing 10% Pd/C (27.7 mg, 0.026 mmol), was added 5-pyrazol-1-yl-2-[6-(1,2,3,6-tetrahydro-pyridin-4-yl)-pyridazin-3-yl]-phenol (Example 19-1) (166 mg, 0.52 mmol) in MeOH (2.5 mL). H2 was bubbled through the solution for 5 min, then the reaction was stirred under H2 at 55 psi at RT. After 18 hr, the reaction mixture was filtered through celite and washed with MeOH. The solvent was removed in vacuo and the resulting oil was dissolved in MeOH then adsorbed onto a MeOH conditioned SCX column. The column was washed several times (5-7 column volume) with MeOH then eluted with 2 N NH3 in MeOH to provide the desired product, 2-(6-(piperidin-4-yl)pyridazin-3-yl)-5-(1H-pyrazol-1-yl)phenol (19.8 mg, 0.06 mmol, 11% yield). LCMS Rt=0.48 min, M+1=322.6 (LCMS method Q). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 8.63 (d, J=2.5 Hz, 1H), 8.50 (d, J=9.3 Hz, 1H), 8.15 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 1H), 7.76-7.92 (m, 2H), 7.47-7.56 (m, 2H), 6.59 (dd, J=2.5, 1.8 Hz, 1H), 3.24 (s, 2H), 3.07-3.19 (m, 1H), 2.84 (td, J=12.2, 2.4 Hz, 2H), 2.00 (s, 2H), 1.77-1.92 (m, 2H).
