The title compound was prepared in 39% yield according to the general procedure for the synthesis of cyclic amide, urea and carbamate derivatives of 1-(3-aminophenyl)2-[4-(2-methyl-5-quinolinyl)-1-piperazinyl]ethanol (Method H) starting from 1-(3-acetylphenyl)-2-azetidinone (D10) and 2-methyl-5(1l-piperazinyl)quinoline (D3).
