Procedure

Following general procedure H, 2-(3-chlorophenyl)-7,8-dihydro-6H-thiopyrano[3,2-d]pyrimidin-4-yl trifluoromethanesulfonate (0.120 g; 0.29 mmol) was reacted with 2-(4-aminophenyl)ethanol (0.044 g, 0.32 mmol) to afford the title compound (0.101 g, 87%) as a white solid. MW=397.92. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 500 MHz) δ 8.20-8.17 (m, 2H), 8.16-8.12 (m, 1H), 7.58 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 7.51-7.46 (m, 2H), 7.21 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 4.63 (t, J=5.5 Hz, 1H), 3.65-3.59 (m, 2H), 3.20-3.16 (m, 2H), 2.90 (t, J=6.0 Hz, 2H), 2.73 (t, J=7.0 Hz, 2H), 2.22-2.15 (m, 2H); APCI MS m/z 398 [M+H]+.
