To a solution of methyl 3-(4-(cyclobutyl(3,5-dimethyl-4-(4-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)phenoxy)methyl)benzamido)propenoate, Isomer 1 (450 mg, 0.85 mmol) in THF (4 mL) was added 2N aqueous lithium hydroxide (4 mL, 8.0 mmol). The resulting mixture was stirred at 20° C. for 1 h. THF was removed under reduced pressure. The residue was acidified by addition of 1N aqueous HCl to pH 3-4 and extracted with dichloromethane (20 mL*2). The organic layer was concentrated to give 3-(4-(cyclobutyl(3,5-dimethyl-4-(4-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)phenoxy)methyl)benzamido)propenoic acid, Isomer 1 (330 mg) as a colorless solid. 1H NMR (400 MHz, Methanol-d4) δ 8.08 (s, 1H), 7.88 (s, 1H), 7.65 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 2H), 7.35 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 2H), 6.61 (s, 2H), 5.15 (d, J=7.2 Hz, 1H), 3.50 (t, J=6.8 Hz, 2H), 2.70-2.67 (m, 1H), 2.52 (t, J=6.8 Hz, 2H), 2.04-1.94 (m, 3H), 1.82-1.72 (m, 9H). MS (M+1)=516.1.
