Beschreibung2-Methoxyethyl Acrylate (MTA) is a specialty monomer for synthesizing specific polymers in the coatings, paint, adhesive, and plastic market segments. Polymers containing MTA have improved bendability, flexibility at lower temperatures, UV resistance, water resistance, and adhesion. It improves oil resistance due to its polarity when used as an additive.

Verwenden2-Methoxyethyl acrylate can undergo RAFT copolymerization with itaconic anhydride.
