Beschreibung2-Acetamido-1,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-2-deoxy-b-D-galactopyranose is fully acetylated D-galactosamine (C4 epimer of D-glucosamine). 2-Acetamido-1,3,4,6-tetra-O-acetyl-2-deoxy-b-D-galactopyranose is used in the synthesis of α- and β-linked acetamido pyranosides, which have anti-inflammatory properties as inhibitors of TLR4.
