VerwendenHydrolytic condensation of tert-butyltrichlorosilane (tBuSiCl3)in DMSO and water was investigated. The process results in the formation of tBu2Si2O(OH)4, the Ti complex of the intermediate produce active heterogeneous epoxidation catalysts.
