The intermediate ethyl ester was synthesized according to the procedure described for the preparation of Example 378, method 2 using 1-chloro-7-hydroxy-5H-benzo[c][1,8]naphthyridin-6-one and N-(4-amino-phenyl)-benzamide to provide 446. LC-MS (M+H=423, obsd.=423). 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ, 6.95 (d, 2H), 7.21 (d, 2H), 7.55 (m, 2H), 7.76 (d, 2H), 7.95 (d, 2H), 8.09 (d, 1H), 8.21 (d, 1H), 8.88 (s, 1H), 10.23 (s, 1H).
