Versuchsvorschrift
Two g of the compound of Example 2 was suspended in 80 ml of absolute ethanol and hydrogen chloride gas was bubbled through for 5 minutes. The mixture was then heated under reflux for 2 hours and cooled, and was then filtered. The solids were collected and dried to obtain 1.25 g of the desired product, m.p. 164°-166°.
