To 110 ml of a 2M solution of ethyl amine in tetrahydrofuran (THF) at 0° C. was added dropwise ethyl acrylate (8.0 ml, 73.92 mmol) in 40 ml of tetrahydrofuran (THF). The reaction mixture was stirred overnight at room temperature.
