LC-MS showed the product had the expected M+H+ of 426. 1H NMR (Varian 300 MHz, CD3OD, shifts relative to the solvent peak at 3.3 ppm) δ 8.29 (d, 1H), 8.19 (s, 2H), 7.66 (m, 2H), 6.97 (m, 4H), 4.49 (s, 2H), 3.64 (t, 2H), 3.24 (m, 4H), 2.97 (t, 2H), 2.92 (t, 2H), 2.07 (m, 2H), 1.36 (t, 3H).
