2624 g of o-nitrophenoxyacetone crystals (˜98%) from the 1st stage, step d), were dissolved at room temperature in a mixture of 11 307 g of methanol and 1290 g of toluene at 40° C., in order to obtain an about 17.6% solution of nitrophenoxyacetone.
