The title compound was prepared from 2-chlorobenzimidazole and 2,2-bis(4-fluorophenyl)ethylamine (prepared by Procedure B from 2,2-bis(4-fluoro-phenyl)acetaldehyde) by Procedure A (20 min at 170° C.). The product was isolated by preparative LCMS to give the title compound as the free base (white solid, mp 155-157° C.). MS(ES+) m/z 350 ([M+1]+, 100) 1NMR (DMSO-d6) δ 3.90 (m, 2H), 4.46 (t, 1H), 6.50 (m, 1H), 6.80-6.90 (m, 2H), 7.07-7.18 (m, 6H), 7.35-7.42 (m, 4H), 10.5 (s, 1H).
