Versuchsvorschrift

Nα -t-Butoxycarbonyl-O-benzyl-L-serine, 5.0 g., is treated with 20 ml. of trifluoroacetic acid at 5° C. The solution is let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes and then the excess trifluoroacetic acid removed under reduced pressure. Benzene is added followed by evaporation. This process is repeated three times to remove excess trifluoroacetic acid. Finally the product is dried under reduced pressure and used without further treatment.
