Versuchsvorschrift

A mixture of (S)-(1-{3-[(pyridin-3-ylmethyl)-amino]-phenyl}-ethyl)carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (3 g) and 9 mL of 4 N HCl in dioxane (20 mL) was heated at 60° for 2 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo, and the residue was neutralized with 10 N NaOH followed by extraction with methylene chloride. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated in vacuo to give the title compound (1.9 g) as an oil.
