The title compound was prepared as in Description 15 from 3-(4-bromo-3-ethylphenyl)-5-methyl-1,2,4-oxadiazole (D81, 0.8 g) and 4-boronobenzoic acid (0.49 g) as a cream solid (0.66 g, 71%).
