Versuchsvorschrift

To a solution of 3.31 g (9.6 mmol) of of 4-(4-hydroxy-benzenesulfonyl)-2,2-dimethyl-thiomorpholine-3-carboxylic acid methyl ester and 2.12 g (11.5nmmol) of 5-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yloxy)-2-pentyn-1-ol in 15 mL of THF was added 3.0 g (11.5 mmol) of triphenylphosphine, followed by dropwise addition of 1.8 mL (11.5 mmol) of diethyl azodicarboxylate. The resulting solution was stirred at room temperature for 18 h. The reaction was diluted with ethyl acetate, washed with water and brine, dried over MgSO4, filtered and concentrated in vacuo. The residue was chromatographed on silica gel eluting with ethyl acetate:hexanes (1:9) to provide 3.03 g (62%) of methyl 2,2-dimethyl-4-[(4-{[5-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yloxy)-2-pentynyl]oxy}phenyl)sulfonyl]-3-thiomorpholine carboxylate as a colorless oil. Electrospray Mass Spec: 534.4 (M+Na)+
