Similarly, from 7-formyl-heptenoic acid and 9-formyl nonenoic acid there may be obtained 8-aminooctenoic acid and 10-aminodecenoic acid respectively and from these 8-aminooctanoic acid and 10-aminodecanoic acid respectively which are utilizable for the production of nylon 8 and nylon 10 respectively.
