A mixture of 11-(piperidin-4-yl)-5H,11H-pyrrolo[2,1-c][1,4]benzoxazepine (5.0 g, 0.019 mole), (2-fluorophenyl)-ethyl methanesulfonate (4.47 g, 0.02 mole), K2CO3 (11 g) and 150 ml dimethylformamide was heated at 85° C. for 9 hours.
