Versuchsvorschrift

In a similar manner as described in Example 2 reaction of 3-tert-butyl-5-chloro-4-hydroxybenzaldehyde and malononitrile gave 3-tert-butyl-5-chloro-4-hydroxybenzylidenemalononitrile m.p. 173°.
