Versuchsvorschrift
3-[3-(4-Methoxyphenoxy)propoxy]-5-(octadecyloxy)benzoic acid was converted to the acid chloride which was treated with diethyl iminodiacetate using the procedure of Example 17 to give N-(2-ethoxy-2-oxoethyl)-N-[3-[3-(4-methoxyphenoxy)propoxy]-5-(octadecyloxy)benzoyl]glycine ethyl ester as an oil which exhibited nmr and mass spectra consistent with the structure.
