Versuchsvorschrift

By following substantially the same procedure described in Example 1, Step B except that the 4-(2,3-dichloro-4-formylphenoxy)butyric acid and 1-nitropropane are replaced by equimolar quantities of 1-(2,3-dichloro-4-formylphenoxy)cyclobutane-1-carboxylic acid (See Example 6, Step A) and 1-nitrobutane and there is obtained (E)-1-[2,3-dichloro-4-(2-nitro-l-pentenyl)phenoxy]cyclobutane-1-carboxylic acid
