The procedure of Example 4, step (b) was followed using 150 mg (0.589 mmol) of 1-(5-chloro-2-nitro-phenyl)-4-methyl-piperidine (as prepared in the Example 12, step (a)) and 327 μL (2.95 mmol) of 1-methylpiperazine at 142° C. for 21 h to afford 189 mg (100%) of the title compound as a yellow semisolid: Mass spectrum (ESI, m/z): Calcd. for C16H24N4O2, 319.2 (M+H), found 319.1.
