In accordance with the procedure described in Example 6, 41 g (0.2 mol) capric N-chloramide were reacted with sarcosine, sodium hydroxide in a mixture of tertiary butanol and water and then processed. The hydantoin remained in the aqueous solution was an oil, that was extracted with ether.
