Versuchsvorschrift

The title compound was prepared by the procedure described in Example 1 using 8.9 g of 2-ethyl-6-methylphenyl-isothiocyanate, 7.68 g of sarcosine ethyl ester hydrochloride, 12.5 g of triethyl amine, and 250 mL of chloroform. Crystallization from diethyl ether afforded the title compound (7.45 g) as a peach solid, m.p. 106°-108° C. Anal. Calcd. for C13H16N2O S: C, 62.87; H, 6.49; N, 11.28. Found: C, 62.52; H, 6.61; N, 11.29. Mass spectrum (+ESI, [M+H]+) m/z 269/271.
