1.4 g (4.8 mmol) 1-piperidin-4-yl-1,3-dihydro-imidazo[4,5-b]pyridin-2-one-dihydrochloride, 1.1 g (4.8 mmol) 2,4-dibromo-pyrimidine, a spatula tip of DMAP and 3.3 mL (19.1 mmol) DIPEA in 35 mL ethanol were stirred at RT.
