Versuchsvorschrift

To a suspension of 2-(S)-[(5-chloro-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-c]pyridine-2-carbonyl)amino]-3-(4-fluorophenyl)propionic acid (EXAMPLE 228, 80 mg, 0.22 mmol) in ethanol (6 mL) was added DMTMM (78 mg, 0.27 mmol) and the reaction stirred for 5 min. To the mixture was added 1,4-dioxa-7-aza-spiro[4.5]decane (Preparation 94, 35 mg, 0.24 mmol) and stirring continued for 16 h. Solvent was removed in vacuo and the crude material partitioned between ethyl acetate and water. The organic layer was washed with NaHCO3 solution (2×20 mL) then brine (2×20 mL), dried (MgSO4) and the solvent removed in vacuo. Purification by chromatography using dichloromethane/methanol (95:5) as the eluent gave the title compound as a pale yellow powder. m/z (ES+)=487.21 [M+H]+; RT=3.50 min.
