Reaktionsschritte

6-(Biphenyl-4-yloxymethyl)-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid was prepared using general procedure B from from 4-phenylphenol (available from Aldrich, Milwaukee, Wis.) and 6-bromomethyl-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester (Intermediate 2). Yield: 68 mg. Mass spectrum (ES) MH+=306.
