Reaktionsschritte
0.059 mole (13 g) of 4,5-dichloro-2-nitro-N-methylaniline prepared in the previous stage is heated for 4 hours in 40 ml of 3-methoxypropylamine on a steam bath. After dilution with iced water and acidifying with concentrated hydrochloric acid, the expected product is filtered off. Recrystallized from 96° ethanol, it melts at 99° C.
