Applications & Uses
Description
BDF 9148 is a Na(+)-channel modulator as well as a congener of DPI 201-106, and was found to increase the contractile force of guinea-pig atria and papillary muscles.
Uses
BDF 9148 is a sodium-channel activator with antiarrhythmic properties that produces a significant CAMP-independent positive inotropic effect in left ventricular myocardium from failing hearts. BDF 9148 is promising for research of myocardial failure[1].
