DescriptionPure potassium ferrate is a dark purple glossy powder, stable below 198°C. It is easily soluble in water to form a light purple-red solution. After standing, it will decompose to release oxygen and precipitate hydrated ferric oxide. The alkalinity of the solution increases with decomposition, it is quite stable in strong alkaline solution, and it is an excellent oxidant.
UsesPOTASSIUM FERRATE(VI): Detoxification: Potassium ferrate oxidizes toxic and harmful inorganic and organic substances, reducing the toxicity of hazardous waste to farmed animals. Deodorization: Oxidizes ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, eliminating foul odors from the pond bottom. Water Purification: Coagulates suspended solids, small particles, and large organic molecules in the water, purifying the water quality. Biota Control: Kills bacteria and algae, regulating aquatic biological populations. Oxidation, flocculation, and biota control work together to thoroughly clean the water from a microscopic to a macroscopic level, creating a comfortable living space for farmed animals.
