Preparation methods

PreparationN-(Diphenylmethylene)aminoacetonitrile can be prepared by transimination of benzophenone imine with aminoacetonitrile hydrochloride. The crude product can often be used as it is or it can be recrystallized (Et2O/hexane or CCl4).
