UsesPoly-L-arginine hydrochloride has been used:as polyelectrolyte solution in the synthesis of biodegradable capsulesas layer constituent, in the preparation of layer by layer (LbL) assembly of multilayer biodegradable shellsin assay for the determination of binding activity of C-reactive protein for polycationic ligands
UsesPoly-L-arginine hydrochloride has been used:to generate complex with stimulatory RNA isRNA9.2 as in neutrophilsused in ribosomal RNA transfection into human monocytic THP-1 cellsfor coating alginate capsule beads
General DescriptionPoly-L-arginine hydrochloride (PLA) is a homopolyamino acid. PLA enhances membrane permeability compared to poly-L-lysine. It has applications as drug carrier, neuroprotective agent and in anticancer vaccines preparations. Peptide vaccines in conjugation with PLA promotes antigen-presenting cells (APCs) to generate T cell and elicit immunostimulant functionality.
