Applications
Uses3-Methoxybenzamide is act as an inhibitor of ADP-ribosyltransferase. It is also a weak inhibitor of the essential bacterial cell division protein FtsZ. Alkyl derivatives of 3-Methoxybenzamide are potent antistaphylococcal compounds with suboptimal drug-like properties.
