The reaction solution is then stirred at room temperature overnight, diluted with 350 ml of conc. sodium chloride solution and extracted four times with a total of 1500 ml of ethyl acetate. The organic extract is washed four times with 100 ml of sodium chloride solution each time, dried over sodium acetate, concentrated and dried under-high vacuum.
