The title compound was prepared from 3-oxo-3-phenyl-propionic acid ethyl ester and 4-chloro-benzamidine hydrochloride according to general procedure 1. 1H NMR (DMSO-d6, 400 MHz) δ 6.97 (s, 1H), 7.50-7.58 (m, 3H), 7.16 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 8.10-8.20 (m, 2 H), 8.30 (d, J=8.5 Hz, 2H), 12.50 (br s, 1H); MS: m/z (ESI) 283 (M+H).
