Reaction Steps
7.3 mL 2-piperazin-1-yl-pyrimidine was added to a mixture of 17 g (2,4,5-tribromo-imidazol-1-yl)-acetic acid, 16.6 g TBTU, 7.3 mL TEA and 100 mL DMF. The reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h at RT and subsequently added to water. The precipitate was filtered to give 23 g desired product. Rt: 0.93 (method B), ESI+: 507
