Reaction Steps
Potassium 7-azaindole 3-glyoxylate 3a (25.4 g, 0.111 mol), (R)-3-methyl-N-benzoylpiperazine 4a (22.7 g, 0.111 mol), 3-(diethoxyphosphoryloxy)-1,2,3-benzotriazin-4(3H)-one (DEPBT) (33.3 g, 0.111 mol) and Hunig's Base (28.6 g, 0.222 mol) were combined in 500 ml of DMF. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 8 hours.
