解説Na2[Fe(CN)5NO]･2H2O(297.95)．ペンタシアノニトロシル鉄(Ⅲ)酸ナトリウムともいう．黄血塩を希硝酸に溶かして熱したのち，炭酸ナトリウムで中和して得られる．空気中で安定な深赤色の結晶．∠Fe-N-O180°，Fe-N間の結合は三重結合に近い．水に易溶，アルコール類に可溶．ニトロプルシドナトリウムは，ニトロプルシドイオンの反応は非常に多様であるが，代表的なものをあげると，(1)硫化物イオンとの反応は敏感で，赤色中間体を経て最終的に菫(きん)紫色錯イオンを形成する．これにより，S2－，SH－の検出に用いられる．(2)反応に無関係な電解質(NaCl，KClなど)の存在下で，SO32－とを加えると深赤色が強まる(Boedecker反応)．(3)溶液は直射日光によりまずNO，[Fe(CN)5H2O]3－となり，最終的にはベルリンブルー(紺青)とHCN，NOに光分解する．弱光では発色しないが，S2O32－やアニリンを共存させると青色になる．中心鉄イオンの酸化状態は，NOが不対電子をもつことと，錯体全体が反磁性であることを考えると，[Fe2＋(CN)5NO＋]2－と考えられ，赤外吸収スペクトルやメスバウアー効果の研究結果も Fe2＋を支持している．したがって，この錯塩の名称は，ニトロシルよりもむしろニトロシリウムであり，プルシ塩よりもプルソ塩とよぶほうが正しい．森北出版「化学辞典（第2版）
