アテロコラーゲン

解説アテロコラーゲン，3本のポリペプチドからなる三重らせん構造をした、分子量約30万のコラーゲン。らせんの両端部のテロペプチドとよばれる部位は生体内で抗原と見なされるため、これをたんぱく質分解酵素で処理したもの。医療・化粧品用に利用される。

使用atelocollagen is a skin conditioner and moisturizing emollient, it is a protein obtained when telopeptides are enzymatically removed from collagen. Its physical properties are almost identical to those of natural, unsolubilized collagen.
