解説硫酸二セシウム,無色の斜方晶系結晶．密度4.24 g cm－3．融点1010 ℃．水に易溶，エタノールに不溶．酸化触媒(VあるいはV2O5と組み合わせてSO2酸化による硫酸の製造や排出ガスの燃焼促進)，セシウム化合物の製造原料，密度勾配遠心分離試薬などに用いられ，水溶液(高屈折率溶液)は高分解能ArF液侵石版印刷に用いられる．森北出版「化学辞典（第2版）

用途セシウムイオンの供給源(分析、合成等)。
使用Cesium sulfate is used to prepare dense aqueous solutions for use in isopycnic centrifugation. It is also used for crystal growing purposes.
使用Cesium sulfate is the basic raw material for the preparation of various cesium salts, and can be used in trace analysis of aluminum and berkelium analysis reagent. It is often used as a liquid medium for density gradient centrifugation to separate and extract nucleic acids, suborganelles and plasmids [4].
調製方法
純化方法Crystallise it from water (0.5mL/g) by adding ethanol and cooling.
