解説カルタップ,カルタップ塩酸塩は無色の結晶．分解点179～181 ℃．水溶解度約200 g L－1(25 ℃)．カルタップはイソメ毒(ネライストトキシン)の類縁体として合成されたもので，昆虫のアセチルコリン受容体にアンタゴニストとして作用する．ニカメイチュウなどの鱗翅(りんし)目害虫，イネミズゾウムシなどの甲虫目害虫に卓効を示す．森北出版「化学辞典（第2版）

使用Cartap is obtained by hydrolyzing 1,1-dithiocyanato- 2-dimethylaminopropane with hydrochloric acid. Cartap is the pro-insecticide of the natural toxin nereistoxin. It is used for the control of chewing and sucking insects, at almost all stages of development, on many crops. Its structure is based on that of the naturally occurring neurotoxin, nereistoxin.
