使用Sodium Laurate is the sodium salt of lauric acid. It functions as a binder, emulsifier, and anticaking agent.
調製方法
純化方法Neutralise it by adding a slight excess of dodecanoic acid and removing it by ether extraction. The salt is recrystallised from the aqueous solution by adding pure Me2CO and repeating the process (see sodium decanoate). It has also been recrystallised from MeOH. [Beilstein 2 IV 1085.]
