解説

ペルフェナジンは，フェノチアジン系の向精神薬。静穏作用が強く，鎮静，強化麻酔，制吐作用なども示す。同系のクロルプロマジンに比して，傾眠状態を起こすことが少なく，鎮静作用も比較的弱いが，制吐作用は非常に強い。精神病治療にも有効で，陳旧な統合失調症患者に対して，疎通性，接触性の回復および，意欲，自発性の促進作用を強く現す。副作用は嗜眠，軽度の血圧下降，パーキンソン様症状などがあるが，クロルプロマジンに比して弱い。ブリタニカ国際大百科事典小項目事典ブリタニカ
