解説スルファグアニジン，サルファ剤の一種．p-アセタミドベンゼンスルホニルクロリドにカルシウムシアナミドを作用させ，ついで脱アセチル，グアニジノ化して合成する．白色の粉末．融点190～193 ℃．熱湯に可溶，アルコール類に難溶，エーテル，クロロホルムに不溶．消化管内感染症の赤痢，下痢の治療薬に用いられる．
