| 健康有害性 | ACUTE/CHRONIC HAZARDS: Dangerous when exposed to heat, flame, or oxidizers. Moderately toxic by ingestion and inhalation. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Volatile chemicals have a high risk of being aspirated into the victim's lungs during vomiting which increases the medical problems. If the victim is conscious and not convulsing, give 1 or 2 glasses of water to dilute the chemical and IMMEDIATELY call a hospital or poison control center. IMMEDIATELY transport the victim to a hospital. If the victim is convulsing or unconscious, do not give anything by mouth, ensure that the victim's airway is open and lay the victim on his/her side with the head lower than the body. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. IMMEDIATELY transport the victim to a hospital. (NTP, 1992) |

| 有害性の概要 | May cause eye irritation[HSDB] May polymerizeReadily forms unstable peroxides in air that may be pyrophoric[CAMEO] An irritantTargets kidneys and eyes[MSDSonline]The major hazards encountered in the use and handling of 2-chloroethyl vinyl ether stem from its toxicologic properties and flammability. Capable of producing eye irritation, exposure to this colorless liquid may occur from its use in the manufacture of anesthetics, sedatives, cellulose ethers, and acrylic elastomers. In activities and situations where over-exposure may occur, we ar a full-facepiece, self-contained breathing apparatus. If contact should occur, irrigate exposed eyes with copious amounts of tepid water for at least 15 minutes, and wash exposed skin thoroughly with soap and water. 2-Chloroethyl vinyl ether can be ignited under almost all temperature conditions (flash point: 80 °F, open cup). When exposed to flame or sparks, 2-chloroethyl vinyl ether may explode. When left standing, 2-chloroethyl vinyl ether may form peroxides which upon heating may detonate. Also, upon heating to decomposition, this substance may emit highly toxic fumes of phosgene. For fires involving this substance, extinguish with dry chemical, CO2, alcohol foam, or standard foa m. Fight the fire from a safe distance. 2-Chloroethyl vinyl ether should be stored in electrically-grounded containers, away from heat, sources of ignition, sources of physical damage, and oxidizing materials. 2-Chloroethyl vinyl ether is a potential candidate for disposal by fluidized bed, rotary kiln, or liquid injection forms of incineration. |
