解説1,5-dimethyl-6H-pyrido[4.3-b]carbazole．C17H14N2(246.31)．オリバシン, キョウチクトウ科Aspidosperma olivaceum，A.longepetiolatum，A.australeなどに含まれるインドールアルカロイドの一つ．黄色の柱状晶．融点317～325 ℃(分解)．希アルコール溶液は蛍光を発する．λmax 224，238，276，287，292，314，329，375 nm(log ε 4.39，4.33，4.70，4.85，4.83，3.66，3.80，3.66．エタノール)．pKa 7.91±0.40．メタノール，アセトン，クロロホルムに可溶，水に難溶．森北出版「化学辞典（第2版）
