実験手順

A mixture of 2-amino-5-methylthiazole (1 g, 8.7 mmol) and 2-bromomethyl-1,3-dioxolane (0.98 mL, 9.6 mmol) was warmed to 85° C. and was allowed to stir for 18 hours. The mixture was cooled to ambient temperature and purified via column chromatography (SiO2, 10% methanol in ethyl acetate then 9:1:0.1 CH2Cl2:methanol:NH4OH) to afford the title compound. MS (DCI/NH3) m/z 201 (M+H)+.
